Choose your own adventure at the Outdoor Adventure Expo

There’s no end to the things you can do in Colorado’s outdoors, and even when you’re a person who loves spending time in nature, it can get a little overwhelming deciding what to do next!

Maybe, like me, you’ve found yourself in choice overload. “After tackling the trails and bagging some 14ers, am I really ready to climb (or maybe more importantly, rappel down) a rock face? Has family time on the pontoon prepared us to start a new adventure in sailing? And will throwing darts with my friends translate into our becoming ace archers?”

What if you didn’t have to make a choice? You have the ability to try all of the recreational activities that Colorado has to offer in one place, over one weekend, for free!

Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife for the first Outdoor Adventure Expo at Cherry Creek State Park the weekend of September 23 and 24. This family-friendly event gives you the chance to talk to adventure experts from our park staff and partners, check out the latest equipment and information from exhibitors, and best of all, you can jump in and try tons of outdoor activities on the spot.

Whether you have an interest in learning more about shooting sports, are curious about kayaks, or are more interested in outdoor activities that keep your wheels on the ground, there are 3 distinct expo areas that can give you a taste of the many Colorado experiences awaiting right outside your door. And did I mention it’s free?

If you’re ready to expand your outdoor horizons, the Outdoor Adventure Expo is the perfect place to start. New adventures start here.
